As your plane touches down at Ahmedabad Airport, the warmth of Gujarat greets you. Our friendly representative will be there to welcome you, hand over your original travel documents, and introduce you to your driver. Soon, you’re whisked away to your hotel to settle in and freshen up.
After a refreshing early lunch, your adventure begins with a visit to the serene Gandhi Ashram, perched gracefully on the banks of the Sabarmati River. This isn’t just a place—it’s a living testament to Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of peace, simplicity, and resilience. Wander through the tranquil grounds and step inside Hriday Kunj, Gandhi’s humble cottage where history whispers through the walls. Explore Nandini, the guesthouse that welcomed visitors from around the world, Vinoba Kutir, where the legendary Vinoba Bhave lived, and Mira Kutir, home to Sister Mira, the British admiral’s daughter who became part of this incredible legacy.
From here, the journey leads you to the elegant Adalaj Stepwell, an architectural marvel from 1498. Its intricate carvings and five-tiered design tell stories of love and craftsmanship, built by Sultan Mahmud Begada for his queen, Rudabai.
The day culminates in the spiritual splendor of Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar (closed Mondays). As twilight falls, prepare to be mesmerized by the Sat-Chit-Anand water show—a dazzling symphony of water, light, fire, and storytelling. DAY 02
Into the Heart of Kutch — Embroidery, Prints, and Living Traditions
After an early breakfast, set out on a panoramic drive toward Bhuj, the gateway to Kutch. Along the way, pause for a rejuvenating tea break at Malaya, watching the landscape transform into vast salt pans dotted with graceful windmills and migratory birds.
Your first stop is Dhaneti village, home to the Ahir community’s exquisite embroidery. Marvel at how bright threads and shimmering mirrors dance together in intricate patterns — each stitch a burst of color, a story woven into fabric, and a timeless craft that adorns everything from clothes to home décor.
Next, step into the world-renowned Ajrakhpur village, where the ancient art of Ajrakh block printing is alive and thriving. Watch master artisans carve wooden blocks by hand and imprint fabrics with natural dyes sourced from indigo, turmeric, pomegranate, and more. This 3,000-year-old tradition is a mesmerizing blend of patience, skill, and nature’s palette.
Explore the Living and Learning Design Center (LLDC) Museum, much more than a museum — a vibrant hub where craftspeople gather, learn, and keep Kutch’s artistic heritage alive.
As the sun dips, arrive in Bhuj for dinner and a restful overnight stay.
DAY 03
Kutch’s Artistic Treasures and the Enchanting White Rann
The morning begins with visits to Bhuj’s historical gems — the grand Aina Mahal and Prag Mahal palaces, and the insightful Bhuj Museum that breathes life into the region’s rich history.
Next, head to the Banni region, stopping at Nirona village to witness the mesmerizing Rogan art—a rare craft where molten castor oil mixed with vibrant pigments is painstakingly painted onto fabric with a tiny metal stylus. The delicate, flowing designs reveal centuries of tradition in every swirl.
Discover the Luhar family’s copper craft, where generations have shaped bells into enchanting forms—from heart-shaped wind chimes to melodic xylophones. Nearby, see lacquer work decorating wooden utensils, a splash of vibrant color and skill.
Lunch awaits at the Tent City in Dhordo, followed by a magical evening at the White Rann salt desert. As the sun sets over the shimmering white expanse, the landscape transforms into a dreamscape, leaving you breathless. Enjoy a cultural evening under the stars, surrounded by folk music and dance. Stay overnight at the Rann Utsav camp, immersed in this otherworldly beauty.
DAY 04
Sunrise Over the White Desert and Tribal Encounters
Rise early to witness a surreal sunrise over the White Rann—a vast salt flat glowing pink and gold as dawn breaks. Return for breakfast at the Tent City before exploring nearby Dhordo village, home to the Mutwa Muslim community with their unique culture and crafts.
Travel to Khavda village, where traditional potters shape clay into beautiful vessels, and meet the Samma tribe, custodians of ancient traditions. Then ascend to Kala Dungar (Black Hill) to watch a spectacular sunset on the Indo-Pak border, a breathtaking vista that feels worlds apart.

Enjoy a traditional Gujarati Thali lunch at Hotel Ilark or Hotel Prince before exploring Mandvi’s treasures. Visit the stunning 72 Jinalaya Jain temples, then relax on the pristine private beach.

Pay homage at the Jesal-Toral Samadhi, the memorial of legendary lovers whose tale lives on in folklore.
Arrive in Jamnagar, where the evening unfolds with a visit to the Bala Hanuman Temple, famous for its continuous chanting of the mantra “Sri Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram”—a spiritual symphony heard nonstop since 1964 and recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records.
Stroll around Lakhota Lake, alive with evening energy. Enjoy street snacks or take a boat ride on the serene waters under sparkling lights. Don’t forget to savor Jamnagar’s famous dry fruit kachori — a local delight.
DAY 07
Divine Dwarka — The Land of Lord Krishna
After breakfast, journey to the sacred city of Dwarka, also known as Devbhoomi — the land of the divine.
Begin with a visit to the Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, one of the twelve self-manifested Shiva shrines, set in a forest area steeped in ancient mythology.
Take a ferry to Beyt Dwarka Island, a spiritual sanctuary surrounded by pristine beaches and coral reefs. Here, the temple of Lord Krishna stands—a living link to the past, where Krishna and his family are believed to have once lived. Wander through narrow lanes lined with vibrant stalls offering local crafts and treasures.
Return to the mainland to visit the Rukmani Temple, steeped in poignant legend about Krishna’s consort and her sacred place a short distance from the city.
As the sun sets, climb to the Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Mandir perched on a hillock in the sea. The temple, sanctified by great saints, overlooks the Arabian Sea, offering spiritual serenity and breathtaking views.

Witness the early morning Mangla Aarti at the magnificent Dwarkadish Temple, a soul-stirring start to your day.
Then embark on a scenic drive via Porbandar to Somnath. En route, visit Kirti Mandir, Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial house, a quiet homage to India’s Father of the Nation.
In Somnath, explore the Bhalka Teerth, where Lord Krishna is said to have been mortally wounded, marked by a sacred tulsi tree and an idol playing the flute.
Visit the majestic Somnath Temple, a symbol of resilience rebuilt time and again through centuries. Attend the evening aarti and stay for the spectacular sound and light show, weaving together mythology, history, and modern tales in a vivid tapestry.

Coastal Temples and Sea-Side Mysteries
After breakfast, head to Diu to see the unique Gangeshwar Temple, where five Shiva lingams sit partially submerged by the sea — believed to be established by the Pandavas during exile. Depending on tides, they appear and disappear, adding a mystical charm.
Continue to Bhavnagar, with a chance to visit the Nishkalank Mahadev Temple, also submerged at high tide and emerging during special lunar phases—a sight both rare and sacred.

Farewell Gujarat — Last Moments and Fond Memories
If you missed Nishkalank Mahadev the previous day, visit early this morning. Afterwards, travel back to Ahmedabad.
Enjoy a half-day free for shopping — perfect for last-minute gifts and souvenirs bursting with local color.
