Trip to World's Tallest Statue - Statue of Unity

Day 1. Arrive at Vadodara and transfers to the hotel, Post breakfast drive to the Statue of Unity. The Statue of Unity is the world’s tallest statue with a height of 182 meters. Later enjoy the stunning, panoramic view on the ride up through glass elevators. Continue to visit the exhibition hall which has been set up on the pedestal of the Statue of Unity. The hall showcases the life of Sardar Patel, his contributions to the Freedom Movement against British rule and his role in the merger of princely states. The Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary, the life, and culture of the tribal people of Gujarat and the Sardar Sarovar Dam are also displayed through an Audio-Visual show.

Post lunch enjoys a walk through the Valley of Flowers is spread across 600 acres with a length of 6 kilometres from Vindhyanchal and 11 kilometres on the Satpura side. The Valley of Flowers began with 48,000 plants in 2016 and has now reached up to 2,400,000 plants. There are five unique creations at the valley in the form of thematic parks-gardens namely: Garden of Senses & Panchatatva Garden, Green Energy & Upcycling Park, Sardar Park, Butterfly Garden, and Adventure Park.

Tourists visiting the Statue of Unity can enjoy the full Splendour by helicopter ride. This joy ride of 10 minutes is truly exhilarating and gives a panoramic aerial view of the scenic mountain ranges, Sardar Sarovar Dam and the valleys around the Statue of Unity.

In the evening after dark enjoy the Light and Sound show using laser technology projected on the Statue of Unity takes place every evening except Monday. The colourful laser lighting system is accompanied by an excellent narration of the history and life of Sardar Patel, his contribution to the Independence Movement and the unification of India as one nation. Dinner and overnight at the Tent City {Phase 1 or at Phase II}. You can also stay in a hotel near SOU.

Day 2. Post breakfast visit Butterfly Garden, Cactus Garden, Ekta Nursery, and a Jungle Safari { All at an extra cost & on subject to availability of tickets } Later visit Garudeshwar Temple, Later drive to Vadodara - Check into your hotel pre-booked. Time permitting visit Luxmi Vilas Palace and Fateh Singh Museum. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

Day 3. Post early breakfast drive to Dakor to visit Ranchod Rai’s Temple {Lord Krishna}. Lord Krishna gained fame as Ranchod Raya when He fled a battle, apparently out of fear. He wanted to prevent the needless killing and attend to His pastime of kidnapping Rukmini, His first wife. Krishna’s fleeing the battle is especially glorified by devotees in Gujarat because it marked Krishna’s taking up residence in Dwarka in Gujarat. Continue to Vadodara or Ahmedabad – Time free for shopping and after dinner proceed to the Airport or Railway Station taking back some beautiful memories of your Gujarat Trip.
