DAY 03

Panjim and North Goa Heritage Tour

Start with an early breakfast and drive to Panjim, Goa’s capital city rich in history. Explore the grandeur of historical monuments including Old Goa churches. Visit the iconic Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church, famous for its pristine white façade and its dramatic double flights of steps winding down the hillside. Admire the ancient bell housed here, one of the largest in Goa.

Next, head to Chapora Fort, perched above Vagator Beach. Built by Adil Shah of Bijapur and later fortified by the Portuguese, the fort offers panoramic views of the Arabian Sea, Chapora River, and several beautiful beaches including Morjim, Ozran, Vagator, and Anjuna. Learn about Goa’s military history and maritime defense.

Enjoy lunch at a local shack before heading to the bustling North Goa Market. Conclude with a visit to Aguada Fort, a well-preserved Portuguese fort built between 1609-1612. This formidable structure once defended Goa against Dutch and Maratha invaders and still offers breathtaking ocean vistas from its ramparts.
