DAY 01

Welcome to Bangalore – Gardens, Palaces, and Temples

Arrive at Bangalore Airport, where your driver will greet you and transfer you to your hotel.

After lunch, immerse yourself in the lush beauty of Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens, originally laid out by Hyder Ali and later nurtured by Tipu Sultan. This sprawling 180-acre garden boasts over 1,000 species of plants and spectacular daily flower shows.


Next, explore the regal Bangalore Palace, a magnificent 19th-century structure that blends Tudor and Scottish architecture, showcasing royal grandeur.


As the day winds down, visit the serene ISKCON Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna, renowned for its stunning architecture and vibrant spiritual activities.

 

Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Bangalore.

DAY 02

Mysore – Royalty, Temples, and Gardens

After breakfast, drive to Mysore, the historic city of palaces and culture. Visit the iconic Mysore Palace, once the majestic residence of the Wodeyar dynasty, now attracting millions of visitors annually.


Ascend to Chamundi Hill to see the famous Chamundeshwari Temple, offering panoramic views and a glimpse into the region’s spiritual heritage. Nearby, explore the fascinating Chamundeshwari Celebrity Wax Museum, Karnataka’s first of its kind.


End the day with a visit to the enchanting Brindavan Gardens, famed for its symmetric layout, illuminated fountains, and boating experience.


Alternatively, opt for a half-day excursion to Somnathpur, where the exquisite Hoysala-era Chennakeshava Temple awaits with its intricate soapstone carvings—a UNESCO heritage site. Later, enjoy shopping for Mysore silk, Mysore Pak sweets, and the famed Mysore sandalwood soap.

DAY 03 & 04

Coorg – Spiritual Heritage and Natural Beauty

Drive to Coorg, the “Scotland of India,” and visit the resplendent Golden Temple (Namdroling Monastery)—one of the largest Tibetan Buddhist centers outside Tibet, adorned with vibrant murals and exquisite architecture.


Post-lunch, experience the refreshing Abbey Falls, cascading 70 feet through lush coffee plantations and spice estates—perfect for nature lovers and photographers.

 

Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Coorg.

Start with a visit to Raja’s Seat, a garden cherished by the Kodagu kings for its breathtaking sunrise and sunset views over misty valleys. Stroll through colourful flowerbeds and enjoy the musical fountains or toy train rides, great for families.


Afternoon at leisure for shopping or exploring local markets to discover Coorg’s rich culture. Overnight in Coorg.

DAY 05

Shravanabelagola and Chikmagalur – Spiritual Heights and Coffee Country

Depart early to Shravanabelagola, a revered Jain pilgrimage site known for the colossal 58-foot monolithic statue of Lord Gomateshwara (Bahubali), carved from a single granite block atop Vindhyagiri hill. Climb 620 steps for a close-up look at this masterpiece and absorb the peaceful atmosphere.

 

Later, drive to Chikmagalur, a charming hill station nestled in the Western Ghats and famed for its coffee plantations. Dinner and overnight in Chikmagalur.

DAY 06

Chikmagalur – Waterfalls and Mountain Trails

Enjoy a leisurely coffee and spice plantation tour in the morning, followed by a visit to Hebbe Falls, a stunning two-tier waterfall surrounded by dense forests.


Later, explore Baba Budan Giri, a mountain range with scenic viewpoints, mysterious caves, and nature trails perfect for hiking and trekking enthusiasts.


Evening is free for relaxation or spa therapy.

DAY 07

Chikmagalur – Peaks, Wildlife, and Nature

Visit Mullayanagiri, the highest peak in Karnataka, set amidst emerald coffee gardens and dedicated to Lord Shiva. Enjoy panoramic views and a refreshing trek.


Discover the rich biodiversity of Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary, home to species such as chinkara, leopards, blackbucks, and jungle cats.


The rest of the day at leisure to soak in the peaceful surroundings.

DAY 08

Return to Bangalore – Shopping and Departure

After breakfast, drive back to Bangalore. Spend your afternoon indulging in last-minute shopping or sampling Bangalore’s cosmopolitan dining scene. Your driver will then transfer you to Bangalore Airport for your onward flight, concluding your memorable South India journey.
